File Requirements
High quality images are required to ensure that the AChemS Annual Meeting logo can be accurately reproduced and printed. The following guidelines are highly recommended:

EPS, PSD, JPEG, and TIF FILES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Resolution must be a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per inch) and a minimum of 600-1200 dpi if the logo includes text or typography.

VECTOR BASED ARTWORK is the best and most user-friendly when it comes to design and print quality/reproduction. Adobe Illustrator is the common software program to use for this type of file creation. Logos that are created in vector-based software programs can be created at any size.

IF USING PHOTOSHOP, submit the logo as a PSD file, maintaining the layers. Make sure the resolution is set to the minimum resolution requirements listed above.

IF SUBMITTING A DRAWING, scan the drawing at a size of 8" x 10" and at a minimum of 300 dpi (maximum of 600 dpi).

DO NOT USE Microsoft Word or another data processing program to create your logo. These programs do not support professional printing and resolution can be poor.
